Astrology Time : an Intro

Astrology is a language. If you understand this language, the sky speaks to you.

Hello. Yes, it’s me, BuzzBuzz Billy Bobby Jr. the Astrology expert, well almost. If you know me personally or have spoken to me, you surely must be aware of my fascination with Astrology. I just love so many things about it, such as how many people discredit it so much. Just a little note that this column is not meant to say your belief is wrong, it’s merely just to introduce you to other perspectives.

If you have gotten this far, though, I’d like to ask you a question: what led you to read this section? Ask yourself why you are needing an answer regarding your life and personality. Just a thought! Rather than just typing “advice” for each zodiac sign and hearing people say,” It doesn’t make sense!” or “This has nothing to do with me... Zodiacs aren’t real!” I thought I would use this column to, yes, give you advice, but also to educate people on what exactly is Astrology. If there is one advice I can give to people, it would be: “Learn about a subject matter before discrediting it/ruling it off as nonsense”.

First off, what is Astrology? In simple terms, it’s monitoring the sky (planets) around you to determine how you will act/who you will be and it starts from the moment you are born. The most common thing I hear from people is that their zodiac messages don’t relate to them and then they are quick to dismiss it.

However, did you know that you aren’t the only one reading that message?

Wow! yes... Other people are seeking advice as well and obviously, not everyone is experiencing the same thing as you. Also, were you aware that you have more than one sign? WHAT! THAT’S CRAZY!! But yes, it’s true. So, depending on the website (which may or may not be reliable) and your other signs, those messages might not be the ones for you. The sign everyone mostly knows about is called your Sun Sign. It is known for determining your ego, identity, and “role” in life. It's the core of who you are. But just because something is placed in the center, doesn’t mean there can’t be more things surrounding it.

That’s where your other signs come into place. In total, you have 11 planets (Ascendant/Rising, Saturn. Jupiter, Moon, Mars, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus) that determine the way you are and who you are “destined” to be. Some of them do change over the years, though, so keep that in mind (I will speak of those another time). If you wish to seek your birth chart (which is how you can see your other signs), I recommend “Co-Star” or “TimePassages”. In the next column, I will go more into depth into the planets individually, what they mean, and how you can use that knowledge of yourself to benefit you.

Until next time, toodles!
